Duggans Pub

A family run pub and restaurant nestled between Redhills & Ballyhaise in County Cavan. The story of Duggan’s Pub began in 1973, when Patrick and Kathleen Duggan returned home from America and purchased the local pub in Drumliff and christened it The Flying Saucer.

Over time, it grew to be warmly known as Duggan’s Pub a popular gathering spot where the tales get taller, the laughter gets louder, and the drinks never seem to run out! Timmy has been part of the pub since he was 4 years old, growing up alongside his five siblings, all of whom have pitched in to help along the way!

Timmy took the reins from his father in his late twenties, and not long after, he met Ita who was also born into the pub lifestyle. Together, Timmy & Ita have transformed Duggan’s into the heart and soul of Drumliff.

It’s no surprise that Duggan’s is still going strong, thanks to the support of all our incredible customers who have made it their second home.

We’re thrilled to have recently been awarded Best Family Pub in Co. Cavan 2024!

But this honour belongs to our family, the amazing community, and our loyal customers who’ve supported us every step of the way.

We truly wouldn’t be Duggan’s Pub without each and every one of you!
